Welcome Message from the Assistant Principal

Dear Arcadia Family,

I am truly excited to welcome you to what promises to be a wonderful school year! It is an honor to serve as your Assistant Principal, and I look forward to getting to know each of you and partnering together to support the growth and success of our students.

I have had the privilege of serving in education for 27 years in many different roles — as a classroom teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, 21st Century Site Director, and Summer Learning Director. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. Each of these experiences has shaped my passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and for supporting teachers in creating meaningful learning experiences.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Elementary Education. I also earned my Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University and am currently pursuing my Educational Doctorate at the University of West Alabama. I truly believe in the power of lifelong learning, and I work every day to model that same love for learning to our students.

Outside of school, I am blessed with a loving family. My husband and I are the proud parents of 14-year-old triplets — Mason, Mattison, and Mariyah — who keep our home filled with energy, laughter, and plenty of activity! As a family, we enjoy traveling, shopping, discovering new restaurants, and simply spending quality time together.

My goal this year is to help ensure that every student feels valued, challenged, and supported. I believe that by working together — families, staff, students, and community — we can create an environment where every child can thrive. I am here to serve, to listen, and to support in any way I can.
